What began as a mission to provide culturally competent and personalized care navigation services for marginalized populations has grown into something much larger. In 2021, we joined forces with Grand Rounds Health, a leader in expert medical opinions, and Doctor On Demand, a pioneer in virtual care, to create a new kind of healthcare company–one that raises the standard of healthcare for everyone.

Owen Tripp is the CEO and cofounder of Included Health, a new kind of healthcare company delivering personalized all-in-one healthcare to millions of people nationwide. Tripp grew Included Health from inception, blending technology and clinical expertise with a human touch to pioneer democratized access to high-quality doctors and medical advice. Today, Included Health offers the most modern and comprehensive care delivery model in the U.S., providing access, answers, and advocacy proven to help people nationwide live more healthy days while reducing unnecessary costs. Tripp previously cofounded and grew Grand Rounds, an expert medical opinion company, and Reputation.com, the global leader in online reputation and privacy management. Prior to that he held leadership positions at eBay and Accenture. Tripp has been honored as the Most Beloved CEO by Rock Health and was named to Goldman Sachs’ list of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. He’s led companies to accolades including World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies. Ami Parekh, MD, JD leads the strategy, operations and quality for our national primary care, urgent care, behavioral health, clinical navigation and population health management practices. Previously, she was Chief Medical Officer for Population Health and Clinical Integration at UCSF Health, and also worked at McKinsey. Ami serves on the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts board of directors. After Yale Medical School and Yale Law School, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Mark leads financial strategy and operations to drive the company’s long-term value-creation and profitable growth. A seasoned industry leader with more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, regulatory, capital management, investor relations, and business development, Mark is well-versed in navigating the transforming healthcare landscape to improve durable outcomes for growth organizations, their clients, and shareholders. Prior, he was Chief Financial Officer of OptumHealth, where he led economic growth, including scaling in-person, high-performance physician networks, expanding into home care settings, and helping the company share accountability for clinical outcomes and cost management through value-based contracting. Mark earned his BA in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Nupur Srivastava leads the care team, tech teams (engineering, product, design, data and information technology) and consumer marketing. Prior to her 10+ years at Included Health, Nupur was Head of Product for AliveCor, a leader in FDA-cleared ECG technology for mobile devices. Before AliveCor she held product positions in Cisco’s telemedicine group as well as DRev, a product development company focused on affordable health technologies. Nupur earned her MBA from Stanford and her Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Rob leads legal and compliance strategy, helping the company achieve its growth and health impact goals in a responsible and ethical manner. With more than 20 years of experience practicing law in the healthcare and private equity arenas, he brings expertise in navigating complex transactions, negotiations, contracting, and value-based care strategies. Rob’s industry expertise is complemented by his strong background in advising executives and boards on growth and scaling operations. Previously, Rob served as the Chief Legal Officer of Oak Street Health, where he supported the company’s initial public offering and operations as a publicly traded company, culminating in its sale to CVS Health. Rob also served as Chief Legal Officer of National Surgical Healthcare, an owner and operator of surgical hospitals and surgery centers. During his tenure, the company experienced significant growth and was sold to a national publicly traded competitor. Rob holds a JD and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS from the University of Dayton.

Jim O’Gorman leads our Talent & Organization Team, responsible for all aspects of our people strategy. He brings more than 20 years of human resource experience helping companies create cultures where people can do the best work of their careers. Prior, Jim built and scaled teams through a variety of leadership roles at Quibi, Hulu and Tele Atlas. He earned a BA in Communications from Gannon University and an MBA from Northeastern University.  Jim lives in Los Angeles with his partner, Alberto.

Dr. Alexandra Yurkovic is Chief Medical Officer at Included Health, where she leads clinical strategy and helps shape high-quality, integrated care across the company’s clinical services. A board-certified internist, Ali has spent more than a decade designing and scaling innovative programs that improve outcomes and strengthen the patient experience. She trained in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and began her career as a hospitalist while also helping design medical management programming and clinical strategy for Boston Medical Center Health System, New England’s largest safety-net health system. At Included Health, she brings deep expertise in clinical operations, care model design, and the intersection of care delivery, technology, and strategy to advance more accessible, coordinated, and effective healthcare.

Dr. Ankoor Shah is a pediatrician and public health leader dedicated to expanding access to high-quality care through innovation. He has led transformative initiatives in clinical care, public health, and AI-driven healthcare solutions. As Medical Director at Children’s National Hospital, he helped reduce pediatric ER asthma visits by 65% through data-driven interventions. At the D.C. Department of Health, he co-led the city’s COVID-19 response, designing a top-ranking vaccination program that reduced disparities in senior vaccine coverage. Now, as Vice President of Clinical Excellence at Included Health, Ankoor is driving the clinical effectiveness, quality, and safety of healthcare services across all 50 states while ensuring the responsible use of generative AI to enhance healthcare experiences and improve outcomes for millions nationwide.

Dr. Vibin Roy, MD, MBA is the Vice President of Virtual Care at Included Health, where he leads clinical strategy and operations. A mission-driven physician executive, he brings deep expertise in AI, digital health, and value-based care, with a proven record of driving care delivery transformation. Previously, Dr. Roy led the Texas market for CareMore Health, delivering integrated care in risk bearing models for members with Medicaid and Medicare. He also served as a Medical Director at the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation, where he led a $10M portfolio leveraging AI to enhance patient safety, quality, and engagement. Dr. Roy earned his MD from the Medical College of Virginia, an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a Certificate of Public Health from UT Houston. He completed his residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a Faculty Development and Primary Care Research Fellowship at TJU.

Dr. Cheryl Baggeroer is the Senior Director of Behavioral Health at Included Health, where she leads a large, diverse team of therapists, psychiatrists and coaches in delivering high quality behavioral health care to members. She is a board-certified psychiatrist and has spent the past 20+ years in leadership roles across multiple telehealth companies driving systems changes to improve access to mental health through integrated care and digital health solutions. Dr. Baggeroer received her B.A from Duke University and her medical degree from Emory University. She completed psychiatry residency at the University of Washington where she focused on advancing women’s mental health and integrated care.

Dr. Anish Mehta is a board-certified internal medicine physician with deep experience in population health, virtual care, and complex care delivery. As Senior Medical Director, Complex Care at Included Health, he leads population health programs for high-acuity, high-risk patients, and oversees a multidisciplinary clinical organization of more than 150 nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and other health professionals. He also serves as an attending hospitalist at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and has taught in both academic and community hospital settings. Dr. Mehta earned his MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, his MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and his BA from the University of Pennsylvania.

Susan Clune is a family nurse practitioner who leads Clinical Navigation Population Health Services at Included Health, with experience in academic medicine and pediatric care. Before joining Included Health, she worked at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she developed a broad perspective on caring for individuals and families across the lifespan. Susan is passionate about expanding access to high-quality care and improving population health through a whole-person approach. In her role at Included Health, she focuses on advancing care models and clinical strategies that help individuals and families navigate the healthcare system, access the expertise they need to inform their care, and support better health outcomes at scale.

Dr. Anuj Bipin Desai is a physician executive and practicing pediatrician who serves as Director of Clinical Quality, Education, and Safety at Included Health. In this role, he and his team lead enterprise quality, safety, education, and clinical AI governance across a national virtual care organization. He oversees multidisciplinary quality and peer review programs supporting more than 1,000 clinicians and millions of annual encounters. Additionally, Dr. Desai sits on the Medical Review Board for Schmitt-Thompson Clinical Content, providing clinical oversight of evidence-based triage protocols and decision-support content. An active clinician, he continues to practice and round at Cedars-Sinai, bringing nearly a decade of neonatal care experience, including high-risk delivery attendance, alongside his ongoing private practice in pediatrics. He previously held faculty and leadership roles at Cedars-Sinai and UCLA.

Dr. Claire O’Connell Boogaard, MD, MPH, is Patient Safety Officer at Included Health, where she leads efforts to embed quality, safety, and responsible clinical oversight across the organization’s care delivery and technology platforms. She has played a central role in building Included Health’s clinical AI governance framework, guiding clinician-in-the-loop safeguards, risk review, and pre-deployment evaluation for emerging AI tools designed to support members and care teams. Prior to Included Health, Dr. Boogaard held multiple leadership roles at Children’s National Hospital, where she completed her clinical training in Pediatrics. Dr. Boogaard holds an adjunct appointment as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. Phil Zuzolo is a general practice physician based in Ohio and serves as the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Affairs at Included Health. He began his tenure with Included Health as a Staff Physician on our Expert Medical Opinion (EMO) service, helping thousands of patients receive specialist recommendations for complex medical questions. He then moved into a leadership role, leading our Clinical Navigation services, including both the clinical team and day-to-day operations. For the past several years, he has led Clinical Affairs, a team of Medical Directors and nurses who partner strategically with our clients to ensure our clinical services align with their goals and objectives and to co-develop future-facing clinical strategies. In this role, he also continues to support individuals with complex clinical situations, particularly when expert medical opinions or high-touch concierge support are needed.

Dr. Young is an Pediatric Emergency Medicine clinician with over 25 years of experience working at top-tier academic institutions.  Dr. Young received her medical degree from the University of Maryland,  completed her residency and fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and has a Masters in Business Administration  from the Rutgers School of Business. Dr. Young  is passionate about women’s and children’s health realizing that geography, socioeconomic status or race should not determine access to quality care. Dr. Young brings this passion to Included health where she works directly with clients to help understand their population health needs and drive overall improvement in their member’s clinical health and outcomes.

Dr. Akin Oyalowo is a practicing, board-certified gastroenterologist and healthcare strategist who serves as Clinical Affairs Medical Director at Included Health, where he leads clinical strategy across population health, product development, and value-based care. He partners with employers and health plans to design programs that improve outcomes and reduce costs, and regularly represents Included Health as a thought leader at national conferences and industry forums. Before joining Included Health, Dr. Oyalowo was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising health systems, payers, and life sciences companies on clinical transformation and growth. Previously, as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, he practiced gastroenterology and led nationally recognized initiatives to expand cancer screening in underserved communities. He holds an M.D. from the University of Maryland, an M.S. in Health Policy Research from the University of Pennsylvania, and an A.B. in Biology from Brown University.

Dr. Brian Knox is Medical Director of Clinical Affairs at Included Health, where he helps lead clinical strategy and supports the delivery of high-quality, inclusive care across the organization. A board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, he brings deep experience across clinical navigation, telehealth, primary care, urgent care, and chronic disease management. Since joining Included Health in 2019, he has helped advance care models that improve access, strengthen clinical quality, and better support diverse member populations, with particular expertise in preventive care and the care of LGBTQ+ patients. Before joining Included Health, Dr. Knox spent nearly a decade on the faculty at the University of South Florida, where he combined patient care, physician training, and program leadership. His prior roles included serving as Medical Director for an internist-led diabetes clinic, Associate Program Director for the residency program, and Clerkship Director for the third-year Pediatrics curriculum. He is passionate about advancing health equity, mentoring future healthcare leaders, and shaping clinical strategies that improve outcomes for underserved populations.

With over a decade of experience treating acute illnesses and injuries in an urgent care setting, Dr. Hockenberry has developed a deep expertise in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Prior to joining Included Health, Dr. Hockenberry gained significant experience in telemedicine and writing, skills that have proven invaluable in her current role. As a member of the Clinical Affairs team, she leverages her passion for education and personalized patient support to guide individuals and clients through the complexities of the healthcare system. She provides educational webinars to audiences of all sizes on a variety of medical topics. She has a particular focus on assisting clients with their highest-cost claimants, helping to optimize care while improving outcomes. Dr. Hockenberry’s dedication to patient advocacy, and healthcare education underscores her commitment to transforming the healthcare experience for patients and organizations alike.
