Who can use Included Health?

Amazon provides Included Health at no cost to Amazon employees and their covered dependents enrolled in an Aetna or Premera Blue Cross medical plan.

Amazon provides this service so you have access to the best medical care possible.

How much does it cost to use Included Health?

Any services Included Health provides are fully covered by Amazon and available at no cost to you and your covered dependents.

Note: Expert second opinions are conducted on a remote basis; there is no charge for this service. Any treatment you receive as a result of that second opinion would be subject to your medical plan guidelines.

How does Included Health choose doctors for second opinions and in-person appointments?

Included Health chooses doctors based on their education and training, patient outcomes, and location. As a result, Included Health can match you with highly experienced doctors and specialists best suited to your personal preferences and medical needs.

What will my doctor think about an expert second opinion from Included Health?

Most doctors are glad to get the opinions of their peers when assessing complicated medical issues. Their primary goal is to get you feeling better.

What happens after I get an expert second opinion?

You’ll receive a written opinion from the expert, via secure email or portal, typically within two to three weeks. In addition, a Included Health staff physician will follow up with you to answer questions you may have. From there, you can work with your treating physician to establish a treatment plan moving forward.

Is Included Health part of my insurance?

No. It’s a separate benefit that guides your ongoing care.

The goal of Included Health is to provide you with the best possible information about your health so you can make informed decisions about your medical care.
