Included Health is HIPAA-compliant, which means that your information is private and confidential. Your employer will not have access to anything you share with us.

Included Health is a tool Amazon makes available to you and your covered dependents at no cost. Included Health services include:

  • Getting remote expert second opinions from leading experts.
  • Finding you the top doctors and specialists in your insurance network.
  • Connecting you to medical staff for one-on-one support over the phone.
Use Included Health when:

You’re unsure about a diagnosis or recommended surgery.

  • Included Health can arrange for you to get a remote second opinion from a leading expert specializing in your area of need, or they can connect you with Included Health medical staff for a phone consultation to discuss symptoms, medications, and more.

You need a primary care physician or specialist for an in-person visit.

  • Included Health will help you find trusted and experienced doctors within your insurance network.

Amazon provides Included Health at no cost to Amazon employees and their covered dependents enrolled in an Aetna or Premera Blue Cross medical plan.

Amazon provides this service so you have access to the best medical care possible.

Any services Included Health provides are fully covered by Amazon and available at no cost to you and your covered dependents.

Note: Expert second opinions are conducted on a remote basis; there is no charge for this service. Any treatment you receive as a result of that second opinion would be subject to your medical plan guidelines.

Included Health chooses doctors based on their education and training, patient outcomes, and location. As a result, Included Health can match you with highly experienced doctors and specialists best suited to your personal preferences and medical needs.

Most doctors are glad to get the opinions of their peers when assessing complicated medical issues. Their primary goal is to get you feeling better.

You’ll receive a written opinion from the expert, via secure email or portal, typically within two to three weeks. In addition, a Included Health staff physician will follow up with you to answer questions you may have. From there, you can work with your treating physician to establish a treatment plan moving forward.
